Every year from the time boating season starts to at least mid-summer, getting immediate engine service is akin to getting an appointment with the president... nearly impossible!

No doubt about it, boats and backlogs go hand-in-hand. Routine maintenance and general run-of-the-mill repairs, such as, tune-ups, replacement of belts, alternators, starters, filters, fuel pumps, hoses, all the little things that keep boats running at peak performance, attract very little attention. In fact, many boaters requesting such service frequently walk away feeling as though they've just been told, Pick a number. We'll call you when it comes up! Yeah, right!

Consequently, while waiting for the phone to ring, enthusiastic boaters reluctantly take their boats out on the lake and listen to their service-needed engines misfire, sputter, choke or chug while it wastes, gobbles, or, starves for gas. Well, you may be pleased to learn that there is an alternative.

Here at Swan Yacht Basin we accommodate boaters with the convenience of reasonably-priced in-water repairs. Since the goal of our dockside service is to greatly limit boating downtime, we try to restrict this service to tune-ups and any other general run-of-the-mill repairs that can be completed usually within three hours or less, providing Murphy doesn't stop by.

Although we will try to accommodate any boat coming off the lake, we only guarantee timely dockside service for those boaters who have made prior arrangement with us.

All you have to do is contact us and let us know what is or is not happening. If you're not sure of the exact nature of your mechanical problem, simply provide a brief description of what the motor is or is not doing. It's not uncommon to know that something is wrong but not have a clue to what it is.
